Springfield Gardens Church of the Nazarene
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is "to make Christlike disciples in the nations."
Women's Ministries encourages women to grow in Christlikeness, discover and use their spiritual gifts, love and serve others, and to reflect the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of life.
Men's Ministries challenges men to discover their spiritual gifts, evangelize their community, disciple and encourage one another in the faith, and develop strong parenting and relational skills.
NMI is involved cooperatively in the life cycle of a missionary along with the World Mission Department, the district, the region, and the local church.
Springfield Gardens Church of the Nazarene's Youth Ministries calls our generation to a dynamic life in Christ. When we think of sharing the Good News about hope in Jesus, God's love and forgiveness, and life in God's spirit we are talking about a way of being. When we draw close to God, God draws close to us and we can be who we truly are in Christ.
Prayer is a call or act that seeks to activate a rapport with God, an object of worship, or a spiritual entity through deliberate communication. Prayer is a relationship, where we respectfully communicate, worship, and sincerely seek God's face, and know that He hears us, loves us and will answer, though not always in a way we may expect or desire. Prayer can include confession, praise, adoration, supplication, intercession and more.
Music and Performing Arts are elements worship. At Springfield Gardens Church of the Nazarene, we know the rich musical heritage of our worship and we embrace both the "contemporary" and "traditional" forms of music in our quest to use it to serve as an important vehicle of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to lead and inspire those whom God called into the Music and Performing Arts Ministry with a spirit of service, compassion, excellence, transparency, meekness, and strength.
